Hi, I'm Matthias.

I've spent my career building digital things and leading the teams that ship them. Along the way I kept noticing the same thing: the businesses that need good technology and practical digital guidance the most (the new shop, the local studio, the one-person consultancy) are often the ones big agencies aren't built to serve.

So I started Raykast to work the way I'd want someone to work with me: properly, but personally. No account managers, no jargon, no disappearing after launch. Whether you need a website, technical consulting, or help figuring out the right next step, you tell me what you're trying to build, I give you an honest opinion, and I support your business like it's part of my own.

I care about the details most people never notice: how fast a page loads, whether a system holds up over the years, how easily your business can be found, and whether the technical decisions behind it are actually useful. Get those right and the work just quietly does its job, which is exactly what good digital work should do.

A lot of how I work comes from open source. I contribute to the tools I build with and share my own projects on GitHub. Good software is worth giving back to.

Some people come to me for a website. Others come for consulting, automation, and the technical side of growing a business. Either way, you will talk to one person who's genuinely invested in getting it right.

Full transparency: Raykast is my independent side venture. I work full-time in enterprise consulting and run Raykast openly alongside it — it's where my websites, tools and side projects live. New website projects are therefore taken on selectively, and I'm always happy to connect, swap ideas or point you in the right direction.
